Secure Document Exchange
We currently use SecureDocs for all document exchange between our clients and health professionals.
SecureDocs classifies data as either file or transactional. The file (aka attachments) are stored up to a maximium of three months and then irrevocably deleted. The transactional data is stored for a maximum of seven years and then irrevocably deleted. Transactional data includes file names, delivery and pickup tracking, and comments.
SecureDocs systems and services are Canadian and all data is stored within Canada under Canadian Law. They observe and comply with the PIPEDA legislation as well as PHIPA (as an agent to the custodian).
